Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

This policy governs the terms under which Vaidayu processes returns, cancellations, and issues refunds for products purchased on our website (the “Site”). We strive to ensure a transparent and fair process for all our customers.

1. Cancellations

1.1 Pre-Shipment Cancellation

You may cancel an order only if it has not yet been dispatched from our warehouse.

  • Process: To cancel, please contact us immediately with your order number.
  • Refund for Cancellation: If the order is successfully canceled before dispatch, a full refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.

1.2 Post-Shipment Cancellation

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. You will need to follow the Return Policy (Section 2) upon receiving the product.

2. Returns and Replacement

Due to the nature of our herbal and personal care products (soaps and shampoos), we maintain strict quality and hygiene standards.

2.1 Eligibility for Return

A product is eligible for return or replacement ONLY if it meets one of the following criteria:

  1. Damaged Product: The product received is physically damaged or broken upon delivery.
  2. Wrong Product: The product delivered does not match the item in your confirmed order.
  3. Transit Leakage: The product seal is broken, or there is significant leakage during transit.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items (Hygiene)

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products that have been opened, used, or partially consumed.
  • Products that were damaged due to customer misuse or improper storage after delivery.
  • Products where the request is made after 7 days from the date of delivery.

2.3 Return Process (Must be within 7 Days)

  1. Initiation: You must notify us of the intent to return within 7 days of receiving your order by contacting us. Please include your Order ID and clear photographic or video evidence of the defect or damage.
  2. Assessment: Our team will review the evidence and approve the return/replacement request.
  3. Pickup: We will arrange for a reverse pickup of the damaged/wrong item from your address. Do not discard the product or its original packaging until instructed.
  4. Resolution: Once the product is received and inspected, we will either dispatch a replacement product or process a refund based on approval.

3. Refunds

3.1 Mode of Refund

All approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used during the purchase.

3.2 Refund Timelines

  • Canceled Orders (Pre-Shipment): Refund processed within 7–10 business days.
  • Returned Orders (Post-Inspection): Once the returned item is received and passes quality check, the refund is initiated. The credited amount should reflect in your account within 7–15 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.

3.3 Shipping Charges (Applicable only for Returns)

  • Defective/Wrong Product: If the return is due to our error (defective/wrong product), we will bear all return shipping costs, and you will receive a full refund for the product.
  • Other Reasons: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to a verifiable error on our part.
